Kenya Yoga Retreat 2027
Watamu Treehouse
23rd–28th November 2027
COME ON AN ADVENTURE WITH ME
Imagine waking up high amongst the treetops, stepping into an open-air yoga shala with 360° views across the Indian Ocean and UNESCO-protected Mida Creek mangrove forest, and spending five unforgettable nights surrounded by jungle, wildlife, sunshine and the sound of the ocean. November 2027, Charlotte is taking you to Watamu, Kenya for an experience that brings together incredible yoga, wild adventure, deep rest and the kind of memories you simply can’t buy.
Every day brings two beautiful yoga practices, with a carefully curated mix of Rocket, Mandala, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. Alongside our daily practices, there will be extra yoga workshops throughout the retreat, giving you the opportunity to slow things down, explore new skills and delve deeper into your practice. Whether you’re wanting to work on your inversions, explore yoga philosophy, deepen your movement or simply discover something new, there will be something for you.
And then there’s the food. Your days begin with an early-morning snack, followed by a delicious brunch and dinner, with teas, coffees and fresh tropical smoothies available throughout the day. Between practices, you’re free to swim in the warm Indian Ocean or our private pool, snorkel amongst tropical marine life, paddleboard through the mangroves, explore Watamu or simply find a shady spot and do absolutely nothing.
AND THEN… THE MAGIC
Included in your retreat is an incredibly special mangrove float that takes place only around the New Moon. Drift through the mysterious waterways of Mida Creek UNESCO site, beneath the ancient mangrove canopy, travelling through the forest and out towards the Indian Ocean. With the water beneath you, the jungle above you and the sky overhead, this is the kind of experience that feels almost otherworldly. This has been selected as one of the most unique Kenyan experiences by the Kenyan Tourism Board.
THIS IS A COMMUNITY
Charlotte’s retreats have become known for bringing together wonderful, like-minded people who arrive as strangers and leave feeling like friends. Her previous retreats have sold out, creating the kind of community that continues long after everyone returns home.
There is something incredibly special about sharing this experience with others. Practicing together, laughing over meals, exploring somewhere completely new, sharing stories under the stars and creating memories that belong to all of you. You don’t just come home with beautiful memories; you come home with people to share them with.
Your stay is in the wonderfully unique rooms at Watamu Treehouse, sharing with one other person, perfect for couples, friends or lone travellers. Choose between one shared King double bed or two separate beds, so you can make the room work exactly for you.
SAFARI OPPORTUNITY
And if that still isn't enough adventure, you can extend the experience with an optional two-day safari through Eastern Kenya. Jump into the safari jeeps and head into the wild in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and so much more.
Five nights. Two yoga practices every day. Extra workshops. Jungle. Ocean. Mangroves. Wildlife. New Moon magic. Adventure. Rest. Connection. Community.
This is your chance to step completely out of your ordinary life and into something wild, beautiful and unforgettable.
Come for the yoga. Come for the adventure. Come for the people. Come for the experience of a lifetime.
