Charlotte Dugdale - E-RYT 500
Charlotte, the owner and founder of Agni Yoga, has been practicing yoga for over 14 years.
She first discovered the practice while working in high-pressure roles within prisons and social care, following her studies in Forensic Psychology at university. Although she loved the work, the intensity of the environment led her to seek balance and yoga quickly became a transformative path.

Since completing her initial teacher training in Rishikesh in 2017, Charlotte has continued to deepen her studies, now holding an E-RYT 500 accreditation with Yoga Alliance and over 1,000 hours of advanced training across multiple disciplines. She has taught around the world, in India, Indonesia, and London, and returned to her hometown in 2019 to teach full-time.
Charlotte is known for her energetic, uplifting classes; Rocket, Mandala, and Vinyasa, where she blends dynamic movement with a playful curiosity, especially in her passion for inversions and arm balances. Her teaching is grounded in yogic philosophy, which she weaves thoughtfully through each practice to create a full, authentic yogic experience.

Charlotte leads teacher trainings for yoga teachers and hosts sold-out retreats worldwide, sharing her knowledge and love for the practice with a global community. Welcoming and encouraging to all, she creates a space where every student feels supported and inspired.

With Agni Yoga, Charlotte has fulfilled her dream of opening a studio, creating a warm and vibrant yoga home in the community she grew up in.

Annie Hackwell
Annie is a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, Pilates and barre instructor, and energy worker, devoted to guiding others back into connection with their bodies.
Her work weaves together embodied movement, breathwork, and energy awareness to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep self-reconnection. With a background in both structured movement and intuitive healing practices, Annie creates spaces that feel safe, supportive, and gently transformative.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that the body holds innate wisdom — and through slowing down, listening, and moving with awareness, we can return to a more grounded, empowered way of being.

Luke Gribbin
Luke is a yoga teacher trained in India, whose journey into yoga began through movement, self-reflection, and a personal focus on mental wellbeing.
His teaching is rooted in traditional yoga practices, with an emphasis on breath, mindful movement, and building awareness in the body. Luke’s favourite practices include Ashtanga yoga, as well as his own Warrior Yoga classes, which blend strength, movement, and presence in a grounded and accessible way.
Originally drawn to yoga through its benefits for mental health, Luke teaches with an emphasis on the journey rather than the final pose, encouraging students to practise with curiosity, patience, and respect for their own bodies. Outside of teaching, he enjoys spending time outdoors in the Lake District, climbing, and music.

Gemma McConville
Hi, I’m Gemma!
Yoga has been one of the greatest gifts in my life, a practice that beautifully weaves strength with softness, movement with mindfulness, and effort with ease. My mission as a teacher is to share that gift with you and guide you through flows that feel empowering and uplifting.
My journey with yoga began over a decade ago while I was training in dance and musical theatre at The Hammond performing arts school. What started as a tool to prevent injury and build core strength, quickly became something deeper. Even as my career path shifted dramatically (from performing arts, to a Business Management degree at Durham, to becoming an ACA chartered accountant) my yoga practice remained the constant thread running through my life.
Today, alongside lecturing in accountancy to postgraduate students, yoga continues to be the place where I return to myself. It has helped me through some incredibly tough times, and gives me clarity, grounding, and the resilience to keep moving forward.
I’ve since completed a Level 4 Yoga Teaching Diploma with a verified 200-hour certification so that I can share this beautiful practice with others.
I cannot wait to guide you through dynamic flows, seamless sequences, and those delicious deep stretches that leave you feeling balanced, centred, and strong.

Grace Rushton
Somatic Health Coach, Menopause Movement Specialist and Yoga Teacher, threshold guide.
I support people through menopause and the wider transitions of ageing with slow, strong somatic practices that build capacity and self‑trust. Yoga became a sanctuary for me through perimenopause, menopause, injury and illness, and I now offer that same grounded space to others.
I hold a degree in Physical Activity, Health & Nutrition, am an NHS PCI‑accredited Health Coach, and trained in Menopause Yoga, MyoYin, Yin Yoga, Pilates, Exercise Referral and the NHS‑accredited Yoga4Health programme. I am passionate about Yin and fascia‑supportive practices that help the body stay fluid, adaptable and well‑resourced as we age.
Always keen to deepen my knowledge to offer the best evidence‑based support, and currently completing trauma‑informed somatic coaching with specialist pelvic floor training with physiotherapist Mary Thornton and Yoga Nidra training to follow.
My experience is rooted in over 30 years as a movement coach, alongside extensive work across NHS specialist teams, rehabilitation and community health — supporting people through movement, recovery and the physical and emotional transitions of life.
My footprint on social media is intentionally small; my work is grounded in real‑world community and connection

Elizabeth Warburton
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
My journey into yoga began at a pivotal point in my life, while working as a pharmacist in a high-pressure environment. Feeling stressed and burned out, I turned to yoga in search of balance, but what I found was something far deeper. It became a space to pause, breathe and reconnect, ultimately leading me to India to complete an immersive 200 hour Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training.
Since then, I’ve completed over 550 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and continued to expand my knowledge across multiple disciplines, including strength development, pilates and barre. Alongside teaching regular classes, I’ve led retreats and shared this practice with a wider community, experiences that have shaped both my teaching and my understanding of yoga as a lifelong journey.
My approach blends traditional yogic philosophy with modern movement, creating classes that support both body and mind in today’s busy world. I’m passionate about helping people build strength, find stillness and reconnect with themselves, not just on the mat, but in everyday life. My teaching is both grounding and energising, with a focus on mindful movement, breath and creating space for personal growth.
I’m excited to be joining the Agni community and to share practices such as Mandala Yoga — a creative, flowing style that moves with intention and rhythm. I look forward to welcoming you to the mat and supporting you in your own journey.

Lou Owens
Hi there, I’m Lou!

I was first drawn to the physical benefits of yoga at the age of 18 as a way of keeping fit, however I quickly became addicted to yoga philosophy and the mental benefits of the practice. Yoga has been life changing for me and it is a deeply healing lifeline which I am passionate about sharing with my students.

I love creating an experience for both the mind and body in my classes. I offer a range of options throughout the class to push those who want it, while supporting those who desire a softer practice.

When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me lifting at the gym, walking my sausage dog or up in the mountains. I’m an Aries and a big animal lover. I can’t wait to see you on the mat soon for a firey yet mindful practice!
